Obverse
The Argentia brand emblem and the bar hallmarks feature on the obverse of 5 oz Egyptian Cat Silver Bars. The emblem consists of a triangular shape with the word ARGENTIA engraved below it. The hallmarks are underneath this logo and read 5 OZ FINE SILVER .9999. To enhance the bars aesthetic appeal, a stylized decorative pattern has been arranged in the background.
Reverse
An Egyptian cat design is found on the reverse of these 5 oz Argentia Silver Bars. Facing the left, the cat is in a sitting position and features numerous decorative flourishes across its body. There is also an elegant swirling petal arrangement that nicely compliments the bars feline imagery. The entire design has been crafted in ultra-high relief across a uniquely shaped field, creating the impression that it was carved from stone.
History
In ancient Egypt, cats were revered creatures thought by many to be good luck. Some wealthy families would even go so far as to dress their cats with elaborate jewels and feed them meals fit for a queen. Cats were also mummified in tombs upon death, at which point their owners might shave their eyebrows and mourn their passing until the hair grew back. Some cats were also offered up to the goddess Bastet at her sanctuary in the city of Bubastis.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
