Highlights:
Your purchase of a 5 oz ATB Silver Coin ensures its safekeeping in a protective plastic slab. This slab will be provided by either the PCGS or the NGC and will guarantee a grade of MS69. Coins with an MS69 grade boast exceptional mint luster, with a maximum of two minor flaws. At this grade, you may expect minimal contact marks or hairlines outside the primary focal points of the coin. As coins are randomly selected and shipped, we cannot guarantee the grading provider or the specific date mark and design.
Obverse
The obverse of the ATB Silver Coins features the distinguished visage of President George Washington. Regardless of the coin you receive, this iconic left-profile image of George Washington remains consistent across all ATB coins. Sculpted by John Flanagan in 1786, it pays homage to the first president of the United States. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, QUARTER DOLLAR, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
Reverse
The reverse field of your 5 oz ATB Silver Coin proudly showcases one of the 56 unique designs from this extraordinary series. Each design is a tribute to a national park, national forest, or historic monument located within a specific district. Inscriptions on this field include the state and issuing year. All coins contain the inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM.
History
The America the Beautiful Series made its debut in 2010, captivating collectors worldwide. Each year, the United States Mint unveiled five new coins in this illustrious series, with the 56th and final coin released in 2021. This remarkable collection was made possible through the America’s Beautiful National Parks Quarter Series Act of 2008, with the list of sites personally curated by Timothy Geithner, former Secretary of the Treasury.
