Obverse
On the obverse of these Silver Dollar Coins, there is a bust of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. Atop her head is a crown of wheat and a Phrygian cap, which symbolizes freedom. Designer George T. Morgan used a school teacher from Philadelphia named Anna Williams as a model for this classic portrait.
Reverse
The reverse side of Morgan Silver Dollars contains a rendition of the heraldic eagle. This majestic bird is featured with widespread wings as it holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons.
History
Following the Coinage Act of 1873, the United States Mint began producing Morgan Silver Dollar coins for the general public. The coins were produced from 1878 until 1904, when silver from the Sherman Silver Purchase Act was used up. Production then went on a hiatus until 1921 when the Morgan was briefly minted before being replaced by the Peace Silver Dollar.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
