Generally speaking, this term refers to coins with medium to light wear and details that are largely visible throughout.
Obverse
The obverse side of the Pre-33 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin comes with a depiction of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. This design is based on Christian Gobrechts effigy of Liberty for the Eagle, Half Eagle, and Quarter Eagle in 1838. Modified in 1849 by James B. Longacre, this bust shows Liberty wearing a coronet crown with her hair in a bun. There are also 13 stars on this side and a date mark.
Reverse
On the reverse face of $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coins, you will find an image of the American bald eagle. Also created by James B. Longacre, this image shows the eagle in front-facing relief with the US national shield, arrows of war, and the olive branch of peace.
History
Depending on the date of the coin you receive, you may find one of two different reverse designs. Coins in this series dated from 1866 onward feature the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and the denomination is engraved as TWENTY DOLLARS instead of TWENTY D.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
