Obverse
The obverse of this coin features the Saint-Gaudens Lady Liberty. She is surrounded by stars around the coins outer edge and has the year of mintage next to her. No other markings are present.
Reverse
The reverse of this coin features the American Bald Eagle in flight. It is clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Several markings are seen on the reverse, including the coins face value, United States Of America and In God We Trust.
History
This coin denomination was minted for a period of 69 years from 1849 to 1933, when gold stopped being used in circulation. The Gold Eagle design remains popular to this day, having been used on other forms of coinage and rounds for decades.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days.
